Hollow Oak’s cultural elite gathered this weekend for the Biennale of Very Small Spaces, and our arts critic, Fenwick Plume, was there to tell you what to think! The centrepiece, a pavilion titled ‘Inside, Mostly,’ is a masterwork of recursive cubes.
‘I sat in it for an hour,’ Fenwick told us, shaking. ‘I did not want to leave. I was asked to leave. I did not.’ Four paws out of five. Points were deducted for the cheese tray, which was ‘regrettably human’ and had to be guarded by volunteers. Fenwick’s final verdict: ‘Sit. Think. Touch nothing. Leave a hair.’ The exhibition runs through the weekend, and the stairwell smells of victory.
